Livana flattened her ears as she over-heard Heatlegs. The Clans didn't need this!
Gold trotted over to Heatlegs.
"I'll go put together the dens. Just for starters." She stood up, and looked around. Hopefully someone would come with her.

Heatlegs agreed with his apprentice. The dens were needed most and, therefore, first. "I'll help you with the dens Gold. Follow me. I think I saw some suitable places on my way here." He flicked his tail as he walked off towards where he arrived.

Moonpaw sat. Nobody wanted his help. What was the point?

((Isn't Moonpaw a girl?))
"Hey, Moonpaw!" Nightstorm called out to her apprentice, "Wanna help me out?"
Gold wanted to protest against her mentor, but she didn't. This place was a suitable place enough for a camp... wasn't it?
I mean, Nightstorm found the announcing spot. Obviously the camp should be around there.

((I wish I knew. Sorry if I sound mean.))
Nightstorm sighed and hung her head. Then she looked back up at Moonpaw.
"Then let's go."

Moonpaw simply followed his leader.
Faithtail watched them go. She mumered to Soulheart, "Moonpaw is a little... plain don't you think." Soulheart nodded. "Yes. He needs a good adventure. And some friends."

Gold trotted around, now abandoning Heatlegs.
"Heya! Hey!" She mewed, and then she padded over to Faithtail and Soulheart, "Heya! What are you going to do? Is this going to be our camp?"

Heatlegs heard his apprentices footsteps as she ventured off and away from her duty. Heatlegs was already having a bad day by getting chased out and lost, and he didn't need to be getting more annoyed by his apprentice's disobediance.
She would have a lot to learn if she ever wanted to become a warrior. One of the most important of those things, respect for your leader and deputy. He turned to Gold, a dissapointed look on his face. "Come now, Gold. This is not the time to share tounges and relax with your clanmates. I want no more but to do the same, but we have a duty to carry out. Just remember, no dens, no comfortable bed of moss to sleep on or warm night-time prey to feed on." Heatlegs sat down and waited for his apprentice to answer.

Gold didn't look angry, but she sure felt that way.
Really, she didn't care if she slept on a bed of moss or have prey. After the long journey with her sister, and all of this excitement, all she wanted to do was sleep, no questions asked.
"But won't this be the camp? I mean... Nightstorm already found the announcing place... surely the camp should be around that?"

Heatlegs had to agree with her. If the dens were too far away, then nobody could come if a clan meeting was called. But, though she had a point, it was rude and very disrespectful to talk back to your mentor, let alone your deputy.
Heatlegs sighed as he explained the obvious. "Well, what if there are no safe places right around here? We are on our own now. Moonclan no longer watches over us or protects us, so we just have to get used to it that way. I don't like it any more than you do, but if The Truth Of Wild Wisps is to survive for one moon, then we have to do the best we can and avoid setling in unprotected places and getting into foolish little arguments like this. And remember, I'm not telling you as a mentor who wants to protect you, I'm telling you as a deputy who wants to protect everybody here, your friends, your family, and your leader. Its my job to organize hunting, patrol, and scouting parties, and I'm not going to let some abnoxious apprentice get in my way!"
Heatlegs, extremely angered, needed to get away from the source of his annoyance, so he turned to go find dens on his own. He hoped that his apprentice shaped up some, or he would have a couple of complaints to give to Nightstorm.

Faithtail simply watched them talk. She was too tired to do much right now.

Gold wanted to roll her eyes, but she didn't. She was going to make her own dens; if nobody else agreed with her, then she'll have her own way.
"Fine," She murmured, "See what you think about this!"
She stomped off out of the camp to look for some brambles or the like. Then she turned around. She'd make the leader's den first.
Hm... Nightstorm... perhaps an underground den.
She turned around and dashed over to the High Pile, and began digging furiously. If she were going to get this camp done by Moonhigh, she'd have to work fast, because it was already sun-high.
