Snakestar sat at the edge of the cliff. He had no fear of falling, after living in OceanClan for 48 moons. He looked at the rays of the falling sun. He often spent time here, thinking of his family. Where were his daughters now? Would he ever see them again?

Snakestar had never put in too much time for this question. He knew the clan came first, but when could a leader find peace to deal with his own thoughts and worries? He felt as if he wished to be a warrior, and sneak off to find them, like Fireheart as a mischevious warrior. But if he abandoned his clan.. what would they think of him?

Thoughts were not easily put aside. He stared at the sun, as if it would give him an answer. He just sat, his eyes looking at the past. Would he ever see his daughters again.. or would he be destined to never see them.. until he was with MoonClan?

Sunpelt was looking for herbs slowly ,because she was tired. She walked and saw little herbs in the area,but then saw a whole bush of herbs but just looked for a while and studied the herb.

Snakestar heard rustling in the bushes. He quickly stood up, and unsheathed his claws. "Who are you and what are you doing!!" he growled with pride. His thoughts were already off of his mind, and he was ready to fight whoever was there.

[sunpelt]

Sunpelt was startled,shaking and wondered who was there."Im Sunpelt" He said nervously.

[skythunder]

"Oh. Sunpelt? What are you doing here?" Snakestar asked calmly. His fur began to fall from it's tense position, and he lightened up a bit.

[sunpelt]

"I was looking at that bush of herbs and finding out what it was and then you jumped in..."She said."These herbs are very useful, I think I should take them".

[skythunder]

Snakestar began to smell the herbs. "Oh so you found feverfew? Great! You should store it in case someone gets a fever.." he commented.

Tidepaw padded up beside Sunpelt, flustered and out of breath holding some herbs in his jaw. Placing them at Sunpelt's feet, Tidepaw was excited to be out with Sunpelt. Then he noticed Snakestar.

"Hi, Snakestar," Tidepaw stammered.

[skythunder]

"Hello Tidepaw." Snakestar greeted.

Unsure what to do, Snakestar looked at the two cats. They looked the same in almost all ways. He slowly looked back at the falling sun, in which was already sinking down the horizon. The sky was growing darker, and he knew night was approaching. He finally took the last glimpse at the sun, as he decided to join the two other cats.
